Alexa first discovered a love for photography at Art College. She then took a change of direction and became a model and actress but continued taking photographs for pleasure, mostly headshots of fellow actors.

How can you immediately spot that Alexa is a great professional photographer for actors headshots? The session starts with short briefing where she understands who you are and where are you heading to. Then you jointly develop a concept discussing different styles and looks as she perfectly understands the acting industry.
The shooting itself is very efficient using mostly natural light floating in from huge windows. She creates the right atmosphere and takes away all the fears from the model. Alexa is not only an amazing photographer but also a great stylist and a lovely person! Highly recommended.
This is my third time getting daughter headshots with Alexa (2 daughters, and they do get older!) and she has been super-impressive every time. It not just that she is a consummate professional with the camera (although she is!). It’s her facility for finding out what her client wants/needs, deciding on clothes, hair and expression, and then making it all happen! All this in an hour which never feels rushed. To call her a first rate professional is completely true but fails fully to do her justice - on top of that she’s a warm, empathic and all round lovely human being.
